Charge two battery banks at the same time
The Voltage Sensitive Relay allows two batteriesto be charged at the same time. When the engine is started and thestart battery reaches 13.7 volts, the VSR engages, allowing twobattery banks (start and auxiliary) to be charged simultaneously.When the voltage drops below 12.8 volts (e.g. the engine isstopped), the VSR disengages, separating the batteries. This systemeliminates the possibility of draining the wrong battery andprotects sensitive electronic equipment powered from the auxiliarybattery from harmful engine start up spikes.
